Financial Leadership Role

The Controller role involves overseeing financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis, with the ability to drive financial strategy and provide executive-level insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial operations: AP, AR, Payroll management
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, annual financial close processes
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations
  • Design and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures for compliance and accuracy
  • Conduct strategic financial analysis, providing recommendations for executive leadership
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance metrics initiatives
  • Develop sophisticated financial models and pro forma analyses for business initiatives, product launches, and strategic investments
  • Analyze profitability by product line, customer segment, and business unit
  • Ensure seamless integration of inventory management, e-commerce platforms, payment systems with general ledger
  • Ongoing ERP system optimization and financial system implementations
  • Initiate process improvement initiatives for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards
  • Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure US GAAP, tax regulations, and reporting requirements compliance
  • Implement internal controls and SOX compliance (if applicable)
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization
  • Lead finance team member development, mentorship, and professional growth
  • Cultivate cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, marketing, and executive teams
  • Provide financial training and support for non-finance departments
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis
  • Proven ability to drive financial strategy and provide executive-level insights
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
  • Strong technical skills in financial software and systems
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and tax regulations
  • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
