Medicaid Benefits Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medicaid Benefits Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding families through the Medicaid application process, ensuring timely approvals and providing exceptional client service.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of Medicaid planning and Elder Law principles.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the Medicaid application process, including asset verification, spend-down strategies, and eligibility documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, social workers, nursing homes, and government agencies.
  • Track deadlines, submissions, and responses to ensure timely approvals.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to integrate Medicaid planning with estate planning.
  • Maintain detailed case files using cloud-based case management systems.
  • Educate clients on the Medicaid process with clarity, patience, and compassion.
