Job Title:

  • Area Education Manager
Key Responsibilities:

As the Area Leader, you will be responsible for academic leadership and management of Schools. Key responsibilities include ensuring improvement in Student Satisfaction Surveys (SSR), fee collection enhancement, managing day-to-day fleet operations and administrative duties through your Area Administrator, maintaining communication with community members and encouraging use of community resources to support schools.

Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with community members, Principals, and Parents by maintaining open communication channels. Collaborate with other Area Education Managers to foster a collaborative working environment and share best practices.

Quality of Principal:

Strengthen the Principal cohort to improve overall quality by working with the Recruitment and Human Resources Manager to recruit high-quality local Principals, providing regular feedback and monitoring continuous improvement throughout the year, and supporting Principals through Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) where necessary.

Quality of Teacher:

Enhance Teacher Quality by working with Principals to recruit high-quality local Teachers, especially in challenging locations, approving Teacher transfers and promotion recommendations, and conducting regular classroom observations and providing consistent feedback.

Quality of Schools:

Develop and implement action plans to improve struggling schools, including regular follow-up and progress monitoring. Plan and develop strategies for area improvement, clearly linked to whole school and area development.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong command over English and Urdu language
  • Proficiency in using computer software (MS Office, Internet, etc.) and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
