We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Engineer to lead our pipeline construction and transmission team.
About the Role- This is a senior leadership position responsible for developing comprehensive strategies and objectives for the design, construction, and maintenance of distribution pipeline networks in the Sindh and Balouchistan regions.
- The incumbent will supervise a team of engineers responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring distribution pipeline projects, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise as needed.
- He/She will coordinate with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and local stakeholders to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and clearances for distribution pipeline projects.
- Pipeline Network Development: Develop and implement strategies for the design, construction, and maintenance of distribution pipeline networks in the Sindh and Balouchistan regions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Team Supervision: Supervise a team of engineers responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of distribution pipeline projects, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and local stakeholders to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and clearances for distribution pipeline projects.
- Design and Engineering: Oversee the design and engineering of distribution pipeline systems, including route selection, pipeline sizing, material selection, and hydraulic tests, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and specifications.
- Procurement: Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for distribution pipeline projects, ensuring timely project execution within budgetary constraints.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor the progress and performance of distribution pipeline projects, tracking key metrics such as project milestones, resource utilization, and quality control measures.
- Master's degree in Engineering or relevant field from a recognized university.
- At least 6 years of experience in pipeline construction and transmission, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- PPEC registration mandatory.
