Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to our competitive bidding rules and validate new suppliers through thorough site assessments before recommending them to senior buyers.
  • Achieve targeted savings by executing procurement processes in line with our competitive bidding policy for purchase requisitions between $100,001 and $1,000,000, then handing over to operations buyers for conversion into purchase orders.
  • Identify opportunities for consolidation and cooperate with strategic buyers to define future action plans.
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational buyers and facilitate the resolution of issues.
  • Guarantee accurate data reliability within our systems, including short text, material groups, delivery dates, payment terms, etc.
  • Escalate operational issues with vendors when necessary.
  • Allocate purchase requisitions to operations buyers and senior buyers based on agreed allocation criteria.
Success Factors:
  • Over a sustained period (2-3 years) has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for their assigned spend category.
  • Has demonstrated leadership skills in successfully leading projects.
  • Has demonstrated expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • Has successfully negotiated in cross-functional and cross-market teams.
