Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing centralized procurement strategies.

You will maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure adherence to procurement policies.

Your expertise will be utilized to support negotiations and contract finalizations.

Moreover, you will promote ethical procurement practices and compliance.

Additionally, you will coordinate procurement activities in alignment with regulatory requirements.

You will monitor cost-saving initiatives and sourcing opportunities.

Further, you will prepare reports for procurement performance analysis.

In this capacity, you will participate in vendor evaluation and feedback processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships.
  • Support negotiation and contract finalization processes.
  • Promote ethical procurement practices and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate procurement activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze cost-saving initiatives and sourcing opportunities.
  • Prepare reports for procurement performance analysis.
Requirements
  • Masters/Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain management experience.
  • Experience in public or project-based procurement is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SAP (preferably SAP MM & FIN module) and MS Office.
Essential Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of financial and risk management practices.
