Job Title: Cash Transaction Specialist

This role is responsible for processing general banking activities, including customer transactions.

  • Process customer transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer requests for account updates, stop payments, and other routine services.
  • Manage cash transactions, recording denominations and requesting additional funds as needed.
  • Balance and reconcile currency notes before storing them in a secure vault at the end of each day.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for safeguarding outstanding cheque books and ATM cards.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless business operations, floor management, and exceptional customer service.
  • Recover applicable service charges on instruments and banking facilities according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain accurate records of General Ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring they are reconciled and balanced at all times.
  • Adhere to bank policies, SBP's Prudential Regulations, Anti-Money Laundering/Combating Financing of Terrorism/Currency Forgery Policy (AML/CFT/CPF), Know Your Customer (KYC), Sanctions Policy, and other regulatory requirements.

This position requires strong numerical and analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial services, banking products, and operations. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
