The role of a Commercial Business Analyst is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing reporting and analytical support to senior management in the areas of data generation, consolidation, analysis, and reporting related to business results, sell-in, sell-through, trade inventory, retail and operational KPIs, revenue forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Allocation: You will strategically allocate stock to stores based on sales trends, store capacity, and regional demand to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze store performance, identifying underperforming stock and making recommendations for reallocation or promotional activities.
  • Inter-store Transfers: Manage the inter-store transfer process, moving slow-moving inventory to locations where it can sell faster.
  • Replenishment Planning: Work closely with the commercial team to continuously refine replenishment strategies, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to collaborate with the commercial and retail teams to gather feedback on product performance and make data-driven decisions on stock replenishment. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of business finance, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in management sciences/accounting & finance, economics from a reputable business school.
  • At least 1-2 years' related experience, preferably in Retail/FMCG/Tech companies in similar data-centric roles.
