The purpose of this role is to oversee the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that all projects are implemented in a timely and quality manner, managing a team of staff, providing guidance and support to team members, and coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Requirements
  • 5-10 years experience in field development work with NGOs (preferably in Asia)
  • Minimum 3 years as Head of Projects Dept. or equivalent

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in implementing and monitoring/evaluation of projects
  • Knowledge of contracting and negotiating
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Solid experience in budget oversight
  • Strong staff management interpersonal and team leading skills
  • Proven experience gained at examining and re-engineering policies, operations, and procedures
  • Previous experience of relationship building with multilateral donors and partners
