
Leading Surgical Oncology Specialist

The Department of Surgery at a reputable medical institution is seeking a highly skilled Fellow Medical Officer to join their Surgical Oncology team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient assessments, document findings, and follow up under consultant supervision.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls.
- Develop management plans in collaboration with senior fellows and consultants.
- Assist or perform operative procedures under supervision.
- Provide excellent care to patients in recovery rooms and ensure smooth handovers to staff.
- Participate in daily ward rounds and communicate effectively with consultants.
- Be available on premises when on call and address patient-related issues promptly.
- Ensure seamless handovers and take charge during duty changes.
- Foster a culture of learning among students, interns, residents, and healthcare professionals.
- Design clinical research suitable for training levels.
Requirements:
- Hold an MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Be FCPS Part II or equivalent qualified in General Surgery.
- Have four years of training in General Surgery in an accredited program.
- Demonstrate competence in common general surgical procedures.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
