The Department of Surgery at a reputable medical institution is seeking a highly skilled Fellow Medical Officer to join their Surgical Oncology team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient assessments, document findings, and follow up under consultant supervision.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls.
  • Develop management plans in collaboration with senior fellows and consultants.
  • Assist or perform operative procedures under supervision.
  • Provide excellent care to patients in recovery rooms and ensure smooth handovers to staff.
  • Participate in daily ward rounds and communicate effectively with consultants.
  • Be available on premises when on call and address patient-related issues promptly.
  • Ensure seamless handovers and take charge during duty changes.
  • Foster a culture of learning among students, interns, residents, and healthcare professionals.
  • Design clinical research suitable for training levels.

Requirements:

  • Hold an MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
  • Be FCPS Part II or equivalent qualified in General Surgery.
  • Have four years of training in General Surgery in an accredited program.
  • Demonstrate competence in common general surgical procedures.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
