Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cash Management: The financial operations manager must manage daily cash balances and ensure adequate cash flows for effective business operations.
  2. Cash Forecasting: This involves forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges from limited cash flow. By doing so, the manager can make informed decisions about investments and other financial transactions.
  3. Banking Relationships: The manager maintains banking relationships, negotiates loans, and merchant services for business units. This requires strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  4. Financial Reporting: Regular financial reports are prepared for meetings and investors. The manager is responsible for maintaining accounts systems and providing accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  5. Budgeting and Performance Monitoring: Collaboration with executives and business heads is essential to prepare budgets and monitor profit/loss performance. This includes analyzing financial data to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  6. Financial Solutions: In this role, you will develop solutions to financial challenges using your treasury and financial knowledge. This may involve negotiating with suppliers, managing cash flow, or identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  7. Liaising with Departments: Effective communication with other departments and business units is crucial. You will need to liaise with various teams on issues related to finance, accounting, and operations.
  8. Financial Advice: Providing financial advice impacting the company is a critical aspect of this position. As a financial operations manager, you will offer guidance on financial matters, helping the organization make informed decisions.
  9. Staff Supervision: You will supervise junior staff members, guiding them in their roles and responsibilities. This involves training, mentoring, and evaluating employee performance to ensure the team meets its goals.
  10. Government Submissions: Preparing financial reports and submissions to government entities is an important task. You will be responsible for ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  11. Financial Audits: Arranging financial audits and reviews is also part of this role. This involves coordinating with auditors, responding to audit findings, and implementing recommendations to improve financial processes.

  13. Payment Processing: Process credit card payments and transfer money from PayPal accounts efficiently. This requires attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
  14. Transfer Management: Managing transfers between bank accounts is another critical task. You will oversee the movement of funds between accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  15. Invoicing and Fee Payments: Processing invoices and fee payments is a vital function. You will handle customer inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of invoicing and payments.
  16. Payroll and MPF Matters: Managing payroll and MPF matters for the company and subsidiaries is essential. This involves preparing payrolls, resolving employee queries, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  17. Tax Filings: Completing tax filings and liaising with IRD is a critical aspect of this role. You will ensure timely submission of tax returns and respond to any tax-related queries or notices.
  18. Financial Policies and Controls: Recommending and maintaining financial policies and controls is a key responsibility. This involves developing and implementing financial procedures, monitoring adherence to these policies, and making recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications

A minimum graduation or equivalent qualification is required. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP is necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also essential for success in this role.
