Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

  1. This role is responsible for executing and developing comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality of our banking applications.
  2. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing banking applications, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, CRM, and Loan Origination.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate new and existing functionalities.
  • Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop test cases.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by implementing effective testing methodologies.
  • Travel as needed to client locations to support project assignments.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in banking applications.
  2. Proven expertise in test planning, execution, and defect reporting.
  3. Strong analytical skills to analyze complex test data and make informed decisions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

  • Test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium).
  • Agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Business process analysis and requirement gathering.
  • Defect management and tracking.

Languages:

Preferred Technologies:

  • Java or Python programming languages.
  • SQL databases and query optimization.
