Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. As an SQA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

  • Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications to ensure product quality through functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and user stories, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance overall quality.

  • Identify, log, and track bugs using tools, provide detailed reports on issues found, and work with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.

  • Perform API testing and database validation to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Validate UI/UX implementation against design specifications, ensuring a seamless user experience.

  • Participate in sprint planning and release readiness activities, providing input on testing strategies and timelines.

  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 3-4 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing, preferably with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing practices, including testing frameworks and tools like Selenium, Postman, and Cypress.

  • Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and database validation (e.g., MySQL), as well as proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control (Git).

  • Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), system testing life cycles (STLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
