About the Role

The Senior Onboarding Specialist is a key team member who supports the delivery and design of our onboarding experience. This role guides and mentors Onboarding Specialists in their day-to-day execution while focusing on program improvement and its impact on key business metrics such as retention and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Facilitation & Content Curation: Deliver compelling content on company culture, vision, and strategy for New Hire Orientation.
  • Programming Content & Alignment: Develop, curate, and maintain orientation content and materials to ensure relevance, engagement, and currency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to refine and elevate content delivered during orientation, ensuring a cohesive agenda.
Program Strategy & Management
  • Support the continuous evolution of the new hire orientation and onboarding strategy to meet organizational needs.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the onboarding program, including 90-day retention rates and new hire satisfaction.
  • Analyze data and feedback from new hire surveys to derive insights and drive programmatic improvements.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and optimization of onboarding technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Team Development & Operational Excellence
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Onboarding Specialists, fostering a high-performance team environment.
  • Support team goals and objectives, managing workflow to ensure flawless execution of logistical and administrative tasks.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for complex issues related to new hires, onboarding processes, or compliance.
Bonus Points
  • A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field can be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, ADDIE, Kirkpatrick's evaluation model, Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Bloom's Taxonomy, and other relevant theories is advantageous.
  • Experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP) and/or Learning Management Systems (Seismic Learning) is preferred.
