Job Title: Mid QA Executive - Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional to grow and contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.

Test Planning and Strategy:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.

Test Execution:
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
  • Validate bug fixes and execute re-tests to ensure issue resolution.

Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure adherence to established QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test results.

Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with development, product management, and design teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress, quality metrics, and potential risks to stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Prepare clear and concise test execution reports for management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and their application.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a team environment.
