Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our coffee chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing standard operating procedures, conducting regular site visits, and managing staff performance.

  • Lead and oversee daily operations across all assigned outlets.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Conduct regular site visits to audit cleanliness, service, inventory, and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and mentor baristas and staff to maintain high performance and morale.
  • Develop shift schedules, labor management strategies, and training plans in coordination with the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing staff development and succession planning.
Customer Experience:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service is consistently delivered at every location. This includes monitoring guest feedback channels and resolving escalated customer issues with urgency and professionalism.

Financial Accountability:

The Operations Manager will own the P&L of each outlet and ensure financial targets are met. This includes monitoring daily sales, labor costs, and wastage to maximize profitability.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

The Operations Manager will ensure all outlets comply with health, safety, and food hygiene standards. This includes maintaining quality control protocols for coffee preparation and implementing regular training and audits to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A strong strategic leader who can balance high-level operational oversight with on-ground execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and team members.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and conditions.
