Lead Compliance Expert – Financial Innovation

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a seasoned compliance professional. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective AML/KYC strategies, ensuring adherence to global financial regulations, particularly in the US, crypto, and fintech spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure seamless alignment of our operations with relevant US banking, fintech, and crypto regulations, including VASP obligations.
  • AML/KYC Leadership: Design and refine comprehensive AML/KYC programs, policies, and procedures, leveraging industry-best tools and frameworks.
  • Sanctions Screening: Implement robust sanctions screening processes, integrating suitable compliance technology stacks.
  • Risk Monitoring: Utilize advanced crypto risk monitoring tools and frameworks to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with product, legal, and operations teams to embed compliance requirements into product design and business processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise effectively with payment providers, crypto exchanges, and regulators as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of regulatory changes, emerging risks, and industry trends to future-proof our compliance posture.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
  • In-depth understanding of US banking and finance regulations.
  • Proven expertise in AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and compliance technology.
  • Experience working with payment providers or crypto exchanges.
  • Familiarity with crypto risk monitoring tools and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
