About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom Project Lead to lead our key telecom project in Islamabad. As a Telecom Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day project operations across BSS and RF domains, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage day-to-day project operations across BSS and RF domains, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery.
  • Customer Handling: Act as the primary point of contact for the customer, handling expectations, resolving escalations, and ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Build and manage high-performing teams—recruit, onboard, and allocate resources as per project requirements.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, propose solutions, and drive problem resolution.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with the customer, addressing concerns before they escalate.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and company processes.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project performance, resource status, and risks to senior management.
  • Resource Management: Take full ownership of team attendance and resource utilization, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and alignment with operational requirements.
  • Financial Management: Support the financial health of the project through efficient resource planning, cost awareness, and contributing to profitability targets in coordination with finance and senior management.
  • Inter-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with IT, HR, and other support departments to ensure smooth project execution, timely resource support, and resolution of operational dependencies.

 

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Telecom, Electrical, or related field)
  • Experience: 5–7 years of experience in Telecom Project Management, with a strong focus on BSS and RF
  • Customer Handling Skills: Proven customer handling skills—able to manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and maintain client satisfaction
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in recruiting and managing technical teams
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of BSS, RF systems, and Telecom Networks
  • Leadership, Stakeholder Management, Communication, and Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities
