As a seasoned Atlassian Support Engineer, you will be responsible for building deep knowledge of the business and understanding the end-to-end customer journey.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity to partner with stakeholders to improve the design, visibility, availability, scalability, and performance of services. You will automate manual processes efficiently, analyze incidents, and facilitate blameless post-mortems.

  • You will measure data using standardized telemetry to improve alert management, decision-making, and optimization techniques.
  • You will support planned changes with deployment and post-deployment monitoring, creating dashboards or alerts as needed.
  • You will evaluate open-source and vendor products, create proofs of concept, and migrate applications to the cloud.
  • You will adhere to company controls to meet audit requirements.

You will exhibit leadership by building a talented and result-oriented team environment. You will build value propositions, case studies, and accelerators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) including installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and support, along with Linux and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of Java, REST API, and Groovy scripting is highly desirable.
  • Experience with high-volume, mission-critical applications.
  • Understanding of ITIL and ITSM tools.
  • Experience in automation, monitoring, alerting, and self-healing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT tools, techniques, systems, and solutions.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for cross-functional issues.
  • Ability to manage changing operational goals flexibly.
  • Passion for operational excellence and governance.
  • Experience handling escalations and ownership of critical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in stakeholder engagement and triage calls.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in supporting Atlassian Tools.
  • Knowledge of Java, REST API, and Groovy scripting.
  • Experience with high-volume, mission-critical applications.
  • Understanding of ITIL and ITSM tools.
  • Experience in automation, monitoring, alerting, and self-healing solutions.
