Job Title: Product Manager

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to develop and implement innovative financial products that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the financial product strategy and roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation.
  • They will undertake activities for developing and refining financial products based on primary research in the field and secondary research available.
  • The Product Manager will be aware of market competition and trends/benchmarks on a regular basis for refining/adjusting product parameters, delivery channels, and marketing strategy.
  • They will finalize product launch/annual implementation plans (inclusive of quarterly and annual targets) in coordination with Business.
  • The Product Manager will develop revenue and cost forecasts for the product.
  • They will set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals in coordination with Treasury and Business.
  • Provide technical support to the Area Managers for the effective implementation of the product, troubleshooting.
  • Train field staff for pilot tests.
  • Identify alternate distribution channels for the delivery of the product.
  • Monitor product performance on a monthly basis to analyze product uptake trends, product quality, etc., and take corrective measures to adjust product parameters accordingly. Analyze audit reports for the same purpose.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth launch and implementation of the product.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders if required for the implementation of the product.
  • Develop marketing plans, materials, and strategies, and coordinate with the Business and Communication for implementation of the same.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (MBA, Finance preferred) or equivalent from a reputable local university or international university.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the banking sector/development sector, as a Product Manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching asset and liability products.
  • Strong research skills and ability to translate research into policies.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority; Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Must be able to travel throughout Pakistan.
  • Examples and at least one sample of an effective product document delivered in the past.
  • Strong follow-up on implementing aggressive growth plans.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other office-based software.
