Job Description:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations, including accounting, controlling, internal control, and corporate compliance. As a business partner to General Managers, you will collaborate with finance directorates to drive strategic decisions and ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Define common and specific processes and policies for finance activities across the three companies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and reporting standards (GAAP and IFRS). Advise plant GMs and senior management on financial performance, recommend action plans to meet targets, establish financial metrics, reporting formats, policies, and drive best practices across units. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, including expense reductions, cash flow improvements, productivity enhancements, and government subsidies. Analyze staffing needs to achieve targets, optimize human resources, and promote talent development. Develop collaborative relationships with other departments. Report deviations and alerts timely to plant GMs and finance directorates, proposing mitigation or corrective actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational qualification: Master's degree in Accounting/Finance. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in team management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer focus skills. Proven business and functional expertise, with strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage change, complex projects, and prioritize effectively. Strong financial background in evaluating new business opportunities, managing costs, reporting, and budgeting. Fluency in English; French language skills and SAP FI/CO knowledge are advantageous.
Benefits:
The role involves acting as a business partner to General Managers for SEP India, SAE Hyderabad, and SAE Services India. The CFO will be a member of the steering committee within the cluster, leading the Financial and Compliance Function. This position holds the authority to control, command, issue orders, make decisions, assign resources, and delegate tasks to ensure compliance with company policies, processes, practices, and objectives.
Others:
Fluent in English; French language skills and SAP FI/CO knowledge are advantageous. Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and explain financial results clearly to non-finance managers. Adaptability to organizational changes and a proactive approach to challenges.
