
Alternative Billing Coordinator

Motive is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to oversee the billing status of accounts, resolve inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy and completeness in billing documents.
About the Role:As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for generating invoices, reviewing and validating refunds, and troubleshooting issues related to the Quote-to-Cash process. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure timely handling and resolution of cases, as well as assist the sales team in an operational capacity to close sales and generate quotes.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
- Analyze billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness
- Create invoices and customize billing
- Review and validate credits/refunds and issue refunds, review payment disputes and chargebacks
- Ensure proper period cut off for month end close procedures
- Be the point person to answer billing related support cases
- Provide accurate and timely reporting
- 1-2 years of experience in a Billing or Billing-related role
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work well with ambiguity, solve problems, and think on your feet
- A good command of Excel and Google Sheets
- Comprehensive knowledge of Zuora is a plus
- Expertise in Salesforce.com is a plus

Billing Process Overview:The Billing Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing processes. This includes researching and resolving billing inconsistencies, analyzing billing documents for accuracy, creating invoices, and reviewing and validating credits/refunds.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work well with ambiguity. They will also possess a good command of Excel and Google Sheets, as well as comprehensive knowledge of Zuora and/or Salesforce.com.
This role requires a self-starter who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced and changing environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with spreadsheets, internet applications, and ERP systems, and will be able to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data.
