Job Title: Financial Leadership Position

The Director Finance is responsible for developing corporate policy and strategic financial plans. This includes creating viable options for analysis and recommendations for approval by senior management.

To excel in this role, you will need to actively coordinate with various departments and take responsibility for managing the department independently. Your duties will include preparing annual budgets, outlining hospital revenues vis-a-vis their sources on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. You will also implement tactical measures to increase hospital revenues and minimize expenses.

You will be responsible for managing all categories of hospital supplies vis-a-vis departmental expenses on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Procedural and reporting formats will be prepared to minimize expenses. Additionally, you will manage payroll budgets and overall control of hospital expenditures.

Your responsibilities will extend to managing revenues vis-a-vis development expenditure, non-development expenditure, and all revenue-producing departmental expenditure. Costing and setting up rates for medical and surgical packages offered at the hospital will be carried out as part of the budget exercise based on the list of services provided by the DMS.

You will manage the cash collection cycle and sources; mode/sources of payments vis-a-vis procedures. Accounts receivable and accounts payable will be strategically managed to ensure efficient financial operations.

Hospital direct and indirect expenditures and overheads will be minimized through effective cost control measures. Accounts for visiting consultants, out-patients, in-patients, and diagnostic services will be planned and controlled to optimize resource utilization.

The inventory will be managed through methods including economic order quantity (EOQ), Just-In-Time (JIT), and other effective monitoring and evaluation systems. Procurement will be authorized, verified, and checked through the procurement committee.

Procedures and systems for all financial transactions and flow of financial information will be designed and implemented to ensure transparency and accountability.

External organizations - banks, leasing organizations, suppliers, corporate panel clients, auditors, and government sector etc. will be dealt and negotiated with on professional and ethical standards.

Strategies for expanding existing corporate clientage with necessary public relations will be designed to promote business growth.

The hospital finance supporting systems/computer software in use will be supervised to ensure seamless financial operations. Required amount of coordination and supervision for the RMI Trust will be offered.

Additionally, additional accounts and finance-related issues assigned by senior management will be carried out efficiently.
