We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to contribute to our project.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors.
  2. Resolve conflicts in structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications by conferring with senior engineers and coordinating solutions with sub-trades.
  3. Report accurate labor costs and monitor material ledgers to ensure sufficient quantities for project completion.
  4. Perform layout work competently, accurately, and efficiently as part of the project team.
  5. Coordinate inspections with senior engineers and authorities as required by the contract.
  6. Inspect false work for conformance to design drawings.
  7. Monitor rebar installation for conformance to structural drawings.
  8. Assist the Project Manager in enforcing quality control and expediting subcontractors.
  9. Update drawings with changes issued by senior engineers.
  10. Review shop drawings for conformance with the contract and communicate information to project staff and the Project Manager.
  11. Identify contract document conflicts and recommend solutions.
  12. Ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
