Responsibilities
  • Maintain existing projects for optimal performance and availability.
  • Oversee technical aspects of content management platforms.
  • Troubleshoot coding errors in themes and plugins.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality in themes and plugins.
  • Develop an effective design concept and transform it into functional themes and plugins.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to write clean, scalable code.
  • In-depth understanding of back-end development.
  • Proficient knowledge of web markup, particularly HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of client-side scripting, JavaScript frameworks (including jQuery), and asynchronous request handling.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools like Chrome DevTools.
  • Strong grasp of code versioning tools (such as Git).
  • Extensive experience in building websites using best practices and widely accepted plugins.
  • Knowledge of WordPress functions at a PHP code level.
  • Creation of custom post types and widgets adhering to coding standards.
  • Development of clean, logical, well-documented, and reusable code.
  • Theme/template integration.
  • Web accessibility and responsive design expertise.
  • Plugin development and customization.
  • Theme concepts.
