Front Desk Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk, serving as the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors. The successful candidate will possess excellent telephone etiquette, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and faculty in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for faculty and staff, effectively managing their calendars.
  • Create documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Provide accurate information to students and visitors regarding university policies and procedures.
  • Handle mail and deliveries appropriately, ensuring prompt distribution to relevant individuals.
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to administrative tasks.
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
  • Utilize helpdesk platforms to track inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is mandatory, with two years of relevant experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service, administration, or a related field. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and helpdesk platforms is also required.
