Child Health Specialist

A research coordinator is required to support the Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health.
About the ProgrammeThe programme focuses on community-based research for betterment of women and child health, with ten field sites across Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct interviews and write detailed notes
- Manage field work process to ensure effective use of time
- Facilitate meetings among the research team
- Train junior staff in research skills and data collection
- Visit households to ensure successful data collection
- Liaise with administration regarding logistics
- Develop and conduct trainings for Community Health Workers
- Provide supervision and support to junior staff
- Raise awareness on Child Health issues within communities
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- At least one year of experience in the Healthcare sector
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in diverse environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
- Ability to work in communities/field sites
- Good computer and report writing skills
