Health Representative

Role Overview:

As a skilled Health Representative, you will be responsible for making professional presentations to targeted doctors within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and their competition.
  • Make professional presentations to doctors, highlighting the benefits and features of our products.
  • Update doctor contact records and maintain accurate call records through our management system.
  • Prepare and follow weekly and monthly call plans to achieve coverage targets.
  • Submit reports on calls made to doctors and chemists through our management application.
  • Track competitive activities and provide feedback to your Field Manager.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Representative is responsible for calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory.
  • Makes professional presentations using selling skills to listed doctors on the approved indications of our products with a view to increase prescriptions.
  • Submits reports regarding calls made to doctors and chemists to his/her Field Manager through management application as per defined KPIs.
  • Avoids adopting any unethical practices while promoting products to customers and follows the desired information about benefits offered by the product.
  • Arranges Product Meetings with the doctors to discuss one or two products in detail.
  • Calls and reports information on promotional and marketing moves of the competition.
  • Provides periodic feedback to your manager and the marketing group on these promotional activities.
  • Ensures stock availability of major promotable products at retail level in his/her territory for honoring the prescriptions generated by his/her customers.
  • Follows the plans to achieve assigned objectives for increased prescription flow from identified doctors and reports his/her findings periodically to his/her Field Manager.
  • Forwards technical queries raised by his/her doctors to the Medical Division for clarification with intimation to the Field Manager.
  • Ensure proper dressing, attire & maintenance of records / detailing kit and vehicle provided to him/her.
  • Submits his/her expenses and leave plans as per deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Science graduate, preferably Pharm D
  • Min 2 Years, max up to 6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
