We are seeking a dynamic sales professional to bridge the gap between dispatch operations and sales initiatives, ensuring efficient truck dispatching while driving new business opportunities.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with truck drivers, carriers, and customers to optimize freight movement. This includes identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities by presenting services and negotiating deals effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the logistics industry to drive growth and revenue.
* Oversee the dispatch process to ensure timely deliveries, coordinating closely with the operations team to achieve optimal results.
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, sales activities, and communications to ensure smooth operations and follow-ups.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and provide valuable feedback to management.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in the logistics and transportation industry, with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
