Job Title: Key Tender Evaluation Professional

The primary objective of this position is to conduct thorough audits/evaluations of tender documents and contracts, including service agreements. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring compliance with Public Procurement Rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review tender documents and contracts prior to approval by senior management to guarantee accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
  2. Assess tender evaluation reports prepared by Procurement to ensure alignment with Public Procurement Rules (PPRA) and prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Support senior management in implementing effective internal controls to verify invoices accurately and on time.
  4. Highlight relevant observations to user departments to rectify non-compliances and optimize business processes.
  5. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of reports and terms of reference of project agreements/contracts, including verification of stamp duty, insurance policies, undertakings, PBG, LTP, payment structures, BOQ, and PO/SPO.
  6. Ensure strict adherence to the system established by SSGC and regulatory authorities to guarantee compliance with policies, regulations, procedures, and laws.
  7. Collaborate with team members to provide feedback regarding analysis of cost and price calculations.
  8. Guarantee compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework while performing job responsibilities.
  9. Ensure adherence to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
  10. Undertake any other tasks assigned by management that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
