Project-Based Sales and Marketing Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project-Based Sales and Marketing Associate.

This role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for books and networking. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making outbound calls and conducting in-person visits to publishers, bookstores, and other potential exhibitors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Lead Generation: Conduct research and reach out to key stakeholders in the literary and publishing industry, including publishers, distributors, universities, and literary organizations across various regions.
  • Cold Calling and Follow-up: Make outbound calls and follow up with leads to drive bookings and promote exhibitions.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the literary and publishing industry.
  • Representation: Represent the organization professionally and enthusiastically in all interactions.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain a record of outreach and regularly report on progress.

Requirements:

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders.
  • Confidence in Face-to-Face Meetings: Confidence in conducting face-to-face meetings and cold calling.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Publishing/Bookselling Experience: Familiarity with the publishing/bookselling space is an advantage.
  • Location: Must be based in or able to travel within Islamabad/Rawalpindi region.
