Software Quality Assurance Role

This is a key position in our organization responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in testing and software quality assurance for Web and Mobile solutions, overseeing all testing activities including functional, regression, and system testing of projects, bugs, enhancements, and hot fixes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and enhancements to ensure thorough testing of internal products and third-party software/services throughout their development and deployment cycles.
  • Perform both white box and black box testing to identify and verify software defects.
  • Collaborate with team members and lead the team when required to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and execute test plans, manage all activities, and prepare reports to ensure issues are resolved and quality assurance is maintained.
  • Review documentation and technical specifications of new applications to determine functionality and conduct compatibility tests.
  • Manage software defect lifecycles using defect management tools to ensure quality assurance and collaborate with software/system personnel on various testing methods.
  • Recommend design improvements or corrections to developers during the development process.
  • Maintain effective communication regarding project limitations, test results, and hardware interface changes.
  • Monitor application performance post-implementation to prevent reoccurrences of issues and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with testing tools such as MANTIS, SELENIUM, APPIUM, BUGNET.
  • Expertise in developing end-to-end test plans and executing them to meet business requirements and system goals.
  • Ability to analyze test results and report defects, bugs, and configuration issues.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance best practices and ability to share this knowledge with the team.
