Client Onboarding Specialist

The Client Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth customer service and regulatory compliance. As part of the team, you will provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on changes in KYC, AML, and AFC areas.
This position requires close collaboration with business managers, credit teams, and other back-office departments to maintain effective relationships and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Develop a thorough understanding of DB KYC/COB policies and central bank rules related to KYC/AML.
- Perform comprehensive KYC activities to ensure seamless customer experiences and adherence to internal and regulatory directives.
- Work closely with colleagues from various departments to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to turnaround time reduction.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging risks within onboarding scope and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to mitigate them effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation Level Agreements (OLAs).
- General documentation handling, scanning, and filing of physical documents.
- Keep abreast of AFC-related regulatory changes and industry trends.
- Analyze AFC risks associated with clients from a technical perspective.
