Job Title

Tejar is seeking a skilled accounting professional to record and maintain the company's financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.

  • Responsible for overseeing the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
  • Assist the accountant in submitting the salary tax, SRB, income tax returns, withholding tax, and sales tax.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes.
  2. Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis.
  3. Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.
  4. Review, code, and process payments related to accounts payable.
  5. Manage account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
  6. Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarisation of data.
  7. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
