Integrated Management Systems Manager Role

Job Description:

This is a key leadership position responsible for developing and maintaining Integrated Management Systems (IMS) aligned with ISO standards.

  • The successful candidate will lead the implementation, maintenance and development of IMS compliant with ISO 9001, 22301, 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • They will be accountable for aligning quality, business continuity, environmental and health & safety processes with ISO 9001, 22301, 14001 and 45001 standards and other applicable regulations.
  • The role involves developing and refining policies, procedures and guidelines aligned with ISO standards for efficient operations and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will identify opportunities for improvement within the IMS and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments and implementing strategies to mitigate risks associated with quality, continuity, environment and occupational health and safety.
  • The manager will communicate and ensure adherence to all ISO standards and integrated management system across the organization.
  • They will implement corrective and preventive actions and ensure accurate reporting to regulatory authorities.
  • Duties also include developing and maintaining change control, business continuity, incident response, disaster recovery and crisis management plans and procedures.
  • The manager will conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of quality control, health and safety, environmental, continuity and recovery plans.
  • They will provide training and guidance to employees on ISO standards and their application within the organization.
  • The role promotes a culture of quality, continuity, environment and safety awareness and compliance.
  • The manager will establish and maintain systems for monitoring and measuring IMS performance.
  • Key responsibilities include planning and conducting internal audits to assess compliance with ISO standards.
  • The manager will communicate IMS performance to stakeholders.
  • Engagement with employees and management to gather feedback and address concerns regarding IMS implementation is crucial.
  • Coordination with external audits by certification bodies and regulatory agencies is also required.
