Process Engineer Job Overview

At our organization, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive business excellence. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in leading assessments of process changes and driving improvements through their implementation.


You will utilize statistical analysis and business excellence project management processes to identify key improvement areas and develop actionable plans to deliver benefits. Additionally, you will own and monitor key plant process performance metrics, including Yield, Materials Manufacturing Efficiency (MME), Right First Time/First Run OK, batch cycle time, throughput, and other process-specific measures.


As the primary contact with off-site technical support functions and Marketing for product changes, including recipe modifications and raw material approvals, you will apply appropriate change management tools and procedures to guide product and process changes.


Developing improvement plans for performance enhancement through focused activities, in collaboration with operations, and via capital projects, is also an essential part of this role. Furthermore, you will serve as the on-site process expert with deep knowledge of plant operations; lead impact assessments of process changes and drive improvements.


Ensuring best practice transfer and knowledge sharing within the wider network is another critical responsibility. Investigating root causes of process failures, developing solutions for non-conforming products, and implementing corrective actions are also essential tasks in this position.


Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in process engineering or operations roles within the process/manufacturing industry.


  • BSc in Engineering from a reputable institution.
