Global Payroll Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced payroll professional to manage accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process multi-country payroll for around 1500+ employees through in-house systems and outsourced providers.
  • Prepare necessary financial schedules for gross salary, bonuses/commissions, overtime calculations, leave encasement, statutory and supplemental benefits, payroll taxes, and deductions/allowances.
  • Reconcile head counts for payroll processing and prepare necessary working to adjust terminations and off-cycle payrolls.
  • Ensure accurate GL accounting entries and reconciliations for payroll cycles, accruals, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to reflect payroll data accurately in the general ledger.
  • Disburse funds in coordination with treasury for monthly payroll payments.
  • Respond to audit and accounting queries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and respond to payroll-related emails and queries.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing and/or accounting roles, preferably in a multinational or top-tier company.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Partly or fully qualified in ACCA, CPA, or equivalent accounting certification.
  • In-depth understanding of global payroll systems and ERP platforms.
  • Prior experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Familiarity with payroll reporting and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to process improvement and automation projects.
