Customer Service and Dispatch Coordinator

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our remote team as a Night Call Centre Representative/Truck Dispatcher. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your exceptional communication skills and analytical abilities to provide excellent customer service while coordinating logistics and transportation.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, have knowledge of trucking regulations and laws, and understand how shipping, trucking, and logistics work. You will be responsible for answering customer inquiries and complaints via calls, updating customer information and call logs, scheduling drivers, communicating with customers about freight details, and preparing dispatch documents.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle upset customers and coordinate difficult situations. If you are detail-oriented, have a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers and offering prompt and accurate solutions.
  2. Schedule drivers to make freight deliveries or collect shipments and packages.
  3. Communicate with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
  4. Prepare dispatch documents, generate freight bills and invoices, and maintain records of dispatched calls, driver routes, and delivery/pickup times.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of trucking regulations and laws.
