We are seeking a skilled Front-end Developer to collaborate on the creation of engaging and user-friendly web applications. As part of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing and building the 'client-side' of our digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to translate business needs into functional and visually appealing interactive experiences.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers and web designers, to improve the overall usability and aesthetic appeal of our websites.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing markup languages like HTML to create intuitive web pages
  • Maintaining and enhancing website functionality
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and efficiency
  • Designing mobile-based features and layouts
  • Collaborating with team members to improve usability and accessibility
  • Conducting research to identify emerging technologies and best practices
  • Developing functional requirement documents and guides
  • Creating high-quality mockups and prototypes
  • Providing technical assistance and support to team members as needed

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience as a Front-end developer with a strong portfolio
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery
  • Hands-on experience with markup languages and browser testing tools
  • A deep understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
