Job Title: HR Operations Manager

Overview:

This role is responsible for overseeing labor and litigation matters, ensuring statutory compliance, and coordinating with government and non-governmental bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage labor and other litigation cases assigned by the Head of Legal to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  2. Administer and ensure compliance with statutory requirements across all facilities nationwide, maintaining a proactive approach to risk management.
  3. Liaise with local authorities, including governmental and non-governmental organizations, to facilitate smooth communication and cooperation.
  4. Coordinate with third-party service providers to achieve business objectives, fostering strong relationships and negotiating favorable terms.
  5. Design a human resource policy framework in line with prevailing laws, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  6. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of HR policies through employee discipline and grievance handling mechanisms, promoting a positive work environment.
  7. Oversee land acquisition, disposal, and rental transactions for new store/warehouse openings, ensuring seamless integration into existing operations.
  8. Assist the Head of Legal in contractual matters, including services, as assigned, providing support and expertise.
  9. Train and support HR colleagues in managing employee grievances according to labor laws, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  10. Conduct disciplinary proceedings as necessary, adhering to established procedures and company policies.
  11. Participate in union meetings to address industrial disputes and negotiate resolutions, promoting collective bargaining and mutual understanding.
  12. Manage disciplinary issues in accordance with applicable laws and company policies, contributing to process improvements and minimizing risks.

Requirements:

  1. Maintain confidentiality in interpersonal interactions, upholding the trust placed in you.
  2. Demonstrate strong communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal) to effectively engage with various stakeholders.

Professional Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations, demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a related field, showcasing your ability to navigate complex situations and drive results.
