Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

The Logistics Operations Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Team Lead by providing overall management and supervision of the Shipping Team. This position requires a strong leader who can establish and maintain collaborative, productive, and supportive working relationships with the Facility Leadership Team, Team Leads, and all Team Members.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure that Team Members adhere to the Excel training program.
  2. Maintain proper product standards and warehouse procedures on a timely basis.
  3. Collaborate with other functions in the DC, including buyers, transportation, accounting, etc.
  4. Establish a positive work environment, sustaining high Team Member morale.
  5. Provide timely performance feedback and evaluations, as well as progressive disciplinary actions when needed.
  6. Assist in supervising all operation processes of the Shipping Team.
  7. Produce operational productivity reports and special projects as required.
  8. Communicate, model, and enforce company policies, core values, vision/goals, and safety rules.
Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of each area, including IT and Services. They will be responsible for interviewing, selecting, training, developing, and counseling Team Members to build and sustain a high-performing team, minimizing turnover.

This individual must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards achieving common goals.

A strong background in logistics, operations, and management is essential for this role, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
