Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our team as a Pre-Sales Consultant. As a key member of the sales process, you will act as a technical and business advisor to prospective customers, collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Solution Design & Proposal
  • Analyze customer needs and design comprehensive IT solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare compelling proposals, bids, and presentations that showcase our solutions.
  • Develop and present solution architecture diagrams, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and cost estimates that align with customer expectations.
Technical Support
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and clients, effectively communicating the value of our solutions.
  • Assist in creating RFP/RFQ responses and ensure alignment with customer needs, providing insights and recommendations for product/service improvement based on client feedback.
  • Engage with customers to understand their IT environment and pain points, positioning our products and services as solutions to their challenges.
  • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by demonstrating technical expertise and thought leadership.
Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with vendors and OEMs for solution validations and technical support, driving mutual success through collaboration.
Market & Product Knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings, maintaining a thorough understanding of our product and service portfolio.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a pre-sales, solution architect, or technical sales role, preferably in an IT firm.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of IT solutions, including networking, storage, cloud services, servers, virtualization, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with OEMs like Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, VMware, and Fortinet is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with solution design tools and platforms (e.g., Visio, cloud architecture tools).
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits.
Certifications (Preferred):
  • Vendor certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, or similar.
