This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Business Development Manager at Bureau Veritas Group. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing techno-commercial support, sales engineering, communication, customer service, and sales activities related to Power & Utilities projects.
Role Description:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing business in power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors through a deep understanding of the client's business needs in this market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development for Power & Utilities product portfolio for the entity of Bureau Veritas in the renewable, thermal, and Hydro sectors.
- Establishes sales strategies to develop business in power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors through a deep understanding of the client's business needs in this market.
- Lead Business Development for all major/key opportunities for the entity in coordination with area offices and business line/functional heads.
- Development and maintenance of all projects, opportunities, & tenders list for large opportunities in Sales Force.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power, or in a relevant field.
- Experience: 4-8 years of Sales/BD experience in the renewable, thermal, and hydro sectors or related.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience in pricing strategies, financial modeling, and contracts negotiation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
