Job Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities. This role requires a proactive and result-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the agency's full-service offerings and a proven track record in converting leads into business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development:
    1. Identify and research potential clients within targeted industries to explore new business opportunities.
    2. Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies, including cold calling, networking, and strategic online engagement.
    3. Qualify leads and develop compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the agency's services.
    4. Lead business development meetings and present BD agency network-based and agency brands/vertical decks.
  2. Market Research and Analysis:
    1. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for business growth.
    2. Analyze competitor offerings and develop strategies to differentiate the agency's services.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
    1. Work closely with the Business Director and unit heads to develop and implement business development strategies.
    2. Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  4. Reporting and Administration:
    1. Prepare weekly reports on business development progress and performance.
    2. Work actively on monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, and share weekly and monthly reports on achievement and shortfalls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in a creative agency or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the agency's full-service offerings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
