Job Summary
The Benefits Program Specialist is responsible for managing and executing employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate records management, timely communication, and compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. This role involves coordinating with employees, vendors, and external stakeholders to address benefits-related inquiries and resolve issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve employee issues.
- Respond to employee inquiries about benefits programs and eligibility.
- Facilitate open enrollment, new hire onboarding, and life event changes in benefits plans.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Update benefits records in HRIS and other systems.
- Prepare reports on benefits usage, costs, and trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve benefits administration processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and benefits management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
