Job Title: Field Technical Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Technical Specialist to perform planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades, and provide backup first-line level one service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line service to customers with service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor time.
  • Schedule and conduct planned/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) activities.
  • Schedule, perform, and document hardware and software updates.
  • Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations.
  • Evaluate success based on customer satisfaction scores (NPS), service key performance indicators, and economic growth and profitability.
  • Travel within the designated service area.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Proven track record in similar position supported by management and customer references.
  • Strong technical expertise for product line responsibility.
  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.
  • Experience with analytical tools and software.
  • Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheet, and database management applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
