About the Role

We are seeking a skilled EHS Lead to champion Health and Safety in our Supply Chain operations. As a key member of our dedicated team, you will make a significant impact by leading global Health and Safety strategy, ensuring the welfare of our people and the success of our operations.

Your initiative will drive transformation and promote a culture centred on safety, aligning with global EHS regulations and best practices. You will be responsible for crafting and introducing Health and Safety strategies and protocols, performing risk evaluations, audits, and checks to prevent hazards and secure a hazard-free workplace.

You will offer direction, guidance, and support to regional EHS teams, ensuring coherent Health and Safety practices throughout our supply chain. Additionally, you will work closely with various teams to integrate Health and Safety into Supply Chain operations and decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Craft and introduce Health and Safety strategies and protocols that align with global EHS regulations.
  • Perform risk evaluations, audits, and checks to prevent hazards and secure a hazard-free workplace.
  • Offer direction, guidance, and support to regional EHS teams for coherent Health and Safety practices.
  • Work with various teams to merge Health and Safety into Supply Chain operations and decisions.
  • Manage Health and Safety instructional initiatives to keep all staff well-informed and compliant.
  • Oversee incident analysis, root cause discovery, and the development of remedial and preventive strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An extensive background in EHS management, particularly within Supply Chain safety initiatives.
  • A thorough understanding of EHS laws, standards, and best practices, especially as they apply to Supply Chain contexts.
  • Influential leadership and communication abilities to champion EHS measures and engender a culture centred on safety.
  • A proven history of creating and putting into action global Health and Safety strategies.
  • Availability to travel internationally to various Supply Chain locations as necessary.
