Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.

You will work closely with the Accounts Manager to prepare and review annual and periodic budgets, as well as assist in the preparation of ACEL's budgets and implementing budgetary controls.

A key aspect of this position is the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of accounting records and reports in internal systems.

An ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: Review and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Budget Preparation: Assist the Accounts Manager in preparing and reviewing annual and periodic budgets, as well as implement budgetary controls.
  3. Accounting Records: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting records and reports in internal systems.
  4. Payroll: Assist in payroll completion and ensure timely processing.
  5. Team Guidance: Guide team members to complete day-to-day and other periodic tasks related to their jobs.
  6. Communication: Maintain a close but authorized link with team members and resolve their issues related to work and/or workplace.
  7. Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly reports on profitability of different products of ACEL.
Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Teamwork: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
