Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist Onsite to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for Point of Sales (POS) systems and related devices.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time onsite position requiring minimal supervision.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all computers, databases, networked and standalone printers, label printers, scanning equipment, and other IT equipment.
  • Supporting and training users company-wide on POS system computers, scanners, cash drawers, and EFTPOS terminals will be another key responsibility.
  • Familiarity with various computer software, including Office 365 and Ms Office Suite, is essential.
  • In addition to technical duties, general administrative tasks such as preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation will also fall under your remit.
  • Providing high-quality customer service through attention to detail and adherence to established processes is paramount in this role.

About You

  • A strong background in technical support and maintenance, preferably in a retail or point-of-sale environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train users.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
