Procurement Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our import/export operations, ensuring seamless logistics and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Import/Export Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop comprehensive import/export strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and export markets.
  • Negotiate contracts with international suppliers and distributors.
Documentation and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including customs requirements, tariffs, and trade agreements.
  • Prepare and review import/export documentation.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
  • Identify and evaluate international suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and establish partnerships.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
Cost Management and Budgeting:
  • Analyze import/export costs, including freight, duties, taxes, and insurance.
  • Develop and manage import/export budgets.
Inventory Management and Stock Control:
  • Forecast demand and ensure timely availability of imported raw materials and components.
  • Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Evaluate the quality of imported raw materials and components.
  • Conduct supplier audits and inspections.
  • IDentify and mitigate risks associated with import/export operations.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and develop the import/export team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
